How long do breast implants last before they need to be replaced?

While breast implants are not considered lifetime devices, they can last anywhere between 10 to 20 years, or even longer in some cases. However, replacement is generally only necessary if a complication arises or if you desire a change in size or shape. Regular check-ups with your surgeon can help determine the best time for a replacement.

Will I still be able to breastfeed after breast augmentation surgery?

Yes, many women are able to successfully breastfeed after breast augmentation, especially if the implants are placed beneath the muscle and the incision is made in the inframammary fold (under the breast). However, there is a slight risk that surgery could affect milk production, so it's important to discuss your plans with your surgeon if breastfeeding is a priority for you in the future.

Can breast implants improve the appearance of sagging breasts?

Breast implants can enhance volume and shape but may not fully correct sagging. If your breasts have significant droopiness, a breast lift (mastopexy) combined with augmentation may be recommended for optimal results. Your surgeon can assess your breast tissue and advise the best approach during your consultation.
